Pre-heat panini press, place french bread on panini press and close cover, cook until golden brown.
Place cooked french bread on a plate and garnish with fresh strawberries, fresh blueberries, fresh raspberries and fresh black berries. Sprinkle powered sugar over the top. Serve with sides of warmed maple and raspberries syrups and a side of sausage or bacon. Serves 2 people, increase recipe for as many people as needed.
Slice 1 inch thick pieces of french bread down the middle so you have 2 1/2 slices, don't cut all the way through. Wash and drain all fruit, slice strawberries into smaller pieces. Mix 3-4 pieces of strawberries with cream cheese and mix until smooth. Butter "inside" of sliced french bread with cream cheese.
Beat eggs, half and half, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and vanilla in a mixing bowl until blended well. Place slices of french bread in a container and pour egg mixture over the top. Turn french bread over every 10 minutes until bread soaks in all the egg mixture, 20 - 30 minutes.
