  • 2 Beaten Eggs
  • 2 cups bread crumbs mixed with 1 tsp. parsley, 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
  • 6 wedges Gruyere Cheese
  • 1 1/2 pints Cooking Oil


  1. Dip cheese in eggs, then in seasoned bread crumbs.
  2. In small sauce pan, heat oil until hot, 375 degrees. Place cheese wedges on skimmer and immerse in hot oil. Watch closely as it only takes a few seconds to brown & the cheese to be slightly soft.
  3. Drain on paper towel - Serves Two
