Comodo per UCONN, Old Sturbridge Village, Hartford e negozi d'antiquariato.

We were greeted by the innkeepers who have run this B&B for over thirty years. Much of the artwork and woodwork was done by the innkeeper Steve. They offered to help us bring our bags in, asked if we have any diet restrictions or food we just don’t like. The room was cozy with an electric fireplace. Breakfast was yummy. Stuffed French toast eggs, fresh fruit, juice homemade muffin and flavored butters. Well worth the stay!

I have been coming to this inn for three years and have always had excellent service from the owners. They are like family now and we enjoy seeing other when I stay there. The rooms are immaculate, the breakfast is delicious and the location convenient to the UCONN campus. I look forward to my return each time.

As this was our first time at a bed and breakfast, The Tolland Inn was a great first! Beautiful room with a hot tub, lovely antiques, and gracious service. Steve and Susan were wonderful hosts, and Steve cooked delicious breakfasts! We will definitely return to the Tolland Inn!

This inn is just a treasure! We stayed one night while researching area ancestry, and we know we'll be back. We highly recommend Sue and Stephen's charming inn to those interested in history, beautifully-made furniture, artful decor, yummy breakfast and general friendliness! So glad we 'found' you!

My husband and I were driving down I-84 in a snowstorm and realized that we were going to have to unexpectedly spend the night in Connecticut. And wow... I have never been stranded in a nicer place! The owners Steve and Susan are incredibly welcoming and make you feel right at home in their gorgeous establishment. Steve is a gifted woodworker and his handiwork is evident in the beautiful furniture throughout the inn. Our cozy room came with a lovely (and very comfy ) canopied queen bed, a gas fireplace with a TV above it and (my favorite) a hot tub in the bathroom! There were also nice extra touches like bathrobes and wine glasses. The homemade breakfast in the morning was delicious: fruit, muffins, eggs and waffles. So whether you are looking for romantic night away or just to relax... look no further, this is the place!

We loved our stay at The Tolland Inn. Susan and Steve are wonderful hosts and we truly felt like we were visiting friends. The inn is beautiful and our room was warm and comfortable. The gas stove heater added to the cozy atmosphere. Steve’s breakfasts were delicious. We visited at Christmas time and loved all the trees and holiday decorations. We’ll be back!

The hosts are very gracious and accommodating. This is my fifth stay and I enjoy returning.
Originally one of the front parlors, Room 1 is now a charming guest room tucked away on the ground floor with a figured maple queen canopy bed, a small gas stove/fireplace (seasonal use,) and private bathroom. CATV, A/C, WiFi. For parents dropping off a UConn student, or a restful stop-over on your way up to Maine, this is a great choice in accommodations. As one of our first-floor rooms, this is a fine room for those who want to avoid stairs.
For a romantic weekend getaway or a cozy honeymoon retreat, Room 2 on our first floor is one of our favorites. It has a private entrance, queen canopy bed,LCD TV, gas fireplace (seasonal use,) and a sunken hot tub for two in the private bathroom. In short, all the extras in a charmingly cozy package. As one of our first-floor rooms, this is a fine room for those who want to avoid stairs. Fridge, CATV, A/C, WiFi, private entrance, hot tub.
Nantucket island is Susan's birthplace and childhood home where her mother ran Eighteen Gardner Street Guest House and her grandmother was the keeper of Haddon Hall. This suite is one of our favorites and has seen several improvements, updates and enhancements through our years here. It is made of three of the 1900 additions bedrooms, toward the rear of the house. This is the one with the hidden door to the hot tub room. Mahogany Queen bed, full private bath, hot tub, LCD CATV, A/C, WiFi.
One of our most interesting and successful projects, the large Pacific Suite, #5, was made from two of the original 1790′s bed rooms on our second floor. The Pacific refers to a time when trade with Asia was new and things with an Asian look were the rage. The suite has a king canopy bed, gas fireplace seen from both the bed and sitting rooms, full sitting room with queen-size couch. A two-person hot tub is set in an alcove room. King bed, fridge, private bath, gas fireplace, hot tub, CATV, A/C, W
This is one of the original bedrooms to the house with the same floorboards and ceiling beams as in 1790. We've added a few modern necessities they would have been shocked to see! A gas fireplace, TV, (even the reading lamps over the bed would have seemed amazing,) and a private bathroom now are part of Room 6. A cozy room overlooking the town green with a handmade queen bed. Room Six has a seasonal gas stove for fireplace viewing. Full bath room with ball-and-claw tub and stall shower. CATV, A/C
When the second floor was added to the ell, in 1900, they stopped one room short. We decided to finish the job. Susan chose the name because it felt like you're right up in the large maple tree just outside. The perfect romantic getaway, honeymoon suite situated at the back of the house for comfort and privacy, with a custom designed walnut king-size bed, hot tub for two, private bath room, and a little bay window sitting area; Fridge, A/C, CATV, ceiling fan, gas fireplace, hot tub, private bath.
