Our room was on the top floor. It was spacious and had a great view of the lower part of the town. Karan and the staff were lovely and accommodating. This was one of the best weekends I've ever had.

This is a place to stay for an authentic experience. You’ll feel that you’re a part of what makes Harpers Ferry a destination. Like many tourist destinations, it isn’t as cheap as other places, but the location is terrific, the ambiance friendly, and decor genuine.

We stayed one night before heading out to hike the AT. Great pace to stay!

The room we stayed in was upstairs above the store. It was oddly laid out with the room's private bath on a different floor and next to the store/kitchen so you had to walk through the main area of the Inn to get up stairs to the room from the bathroom. (They said they would provide robes but did not.) The AC unit in the room did not cool at all and was moldy. The staff smoked directly outside the back of the inn and you could smell it from inside. Wiring in the room was dodgy, with an extension cord plugged in behind the bed that led to a wall where it was plastered in, and a note on the plug staying "do not unplug". I have no idea where the cord led or what it was to. The inn had an unclean appearance with doors open to storage areas with towels/linens and other items in piles. Garbage bags were laying open in the alley and not in cans. We biked to the inn from along the C&O trail and the bike storage was not great. Bikes were stored outside under stairs, but we were able to lock them after removing all the bags.

This is an historic Inn so it is brimming over with character. We arrived bedraggled and muddy having ridden the C&O Trail in torrential rain, but Karan and her staff could not have been more helpful and welcoming, allowing us to use facilities long before our check-in time. We hope to return. Mark and Karin.

The Inn is in the heart of Harpers Ferry "low town." It is not a conventional BandB in that one has to purchase breakfast in the little cafe in the Inn. The proprietor is very lovely and helpful. We left some medicine in the room refrigerator and she overnighted it to us, after being sure to keep it refrigerated until she could mail it. It is a quaint place to stay.

We stayed in the Mountain View Inn which the pictures show the Bistro beside. I feel the Mountain View was a little pricey for what we got, but Karen was sweet, very knowledgeable about the town and we did get to stay in the heart of Harpers Ferry.

Town's Inn is unique and fun. Staff was welcoming, helpful, and enjoyable to talk with. This is an old Inn serving home made meals, cooked before your eyes. Fun to meet the backpackers and bicyclists coming through. A mixture of all types of families. So, we loved it!
