Stayed in this B&B earlier this week in celebration of my wife's birthday and our 52nd anniversary...it was close to home and allowed us to spend some time in Bardstown at the museums...excellent. Upon on our arrival, the "interim inn keeper", Donna welcomed us and told us the history of this home. I have no idea why they would call her "interim" as she was a great host, brought us some dessert in the late afternoon and cooked an absolutely delightful breakfast...won't find one of these anywhere as the delicacies were unique and scrumptious. We stayed in the Lincoln Library room which was quite nice...quiet, comfortable...can't believe those bed sheets!. This is a home in the country...animals, crops and the wide open spaces. I chose this place because my wife is from the country and it brought back many memories...walked down the lane, sat in the gazebo and I laid in the hammock (needs to be repaired). The home is as described...literature says there is a horse farm next door but we never saw the horses because we understood they keep wraps on the animals as it is a cut throat business...race horses. We had never seen alpaca or llama in a farm setting...unique setting. Could not say enough about Donna...interim innkeeper!

My husband and I have stayed in many B&Bs before, but the other 2 couples had not, they were amazed at the hospitality Donna showed, us, the beautiful rooms, and magnificent breakfast we were served each morning. Was so comfortable sitting together evenings either inside or out

From the grounds to the innkeeper to the food and room all were superb, I highly recommend a stay here. Looking forward to going back. It rates a 10 on a 10 scale. Thank you Donna for being a superb hostess and innkeeper, every detail was appreciated.

Wow - I don’t know if I can put into words what an amazing experience we had at the Inn. It began the moment we drove up the drive, past the pastures with grazing Alpaca’s and Llamas, to the Manor. I had goose bumps because it was so lovely and majestic and yet felt like “home”. We were welcomed by Donna who was like an amiable house mother who wanted to make sure our every need was met. We toured all the suites and decided who would sleep where - no arguments as each room seemed to be perfect for certain people. Then we changed for the Rehearsal and Dinner in Danville. When we returned we hung out talking, singing, playing the piano, having hot cocoa and tea - all the while Donna was in the background at the ready to answer a question or help us find what we needed. One of the bridesmaids was making a small wedding cake and needed to use the kitchen - Donna helped her and let her use her kitchen with such openness. She is the quintessential innkeeper - available to help, but not intrusive. By the time we left we felt like she was a part of the family:) The smartest thing was renting the entire Inn for the night - made it so special for my daughter and her friends on the night before her wedding. It made the celebration weekend so much more memorable and we will always cherish your Inn as a the place the wedding began. We had a scrumptious, healthy breakfast which kept us all going till the wedding dinner and then the photographer and makeup and hair stylist arrived. We got ready in a storybook setting and now have some lovely pictures of my daughter and her bridal party in your amazing grounds and manor. I honestly cannot imagine anywhere else better to have this experience. As Mother-of-the-Bride, having Donna as my sidekick and helper was so valuable - not just for all she did, but for her words of encouragement and desire to share in my joy:)

I just returned from a weekend stay with my husband and two more couples that joined us to celebrate a big birthday. We toured some bourbon distilleries while in the area. Our experience at the Historic Maple Hill Manor was wonderful. The inn keepers, Robert and Colleen, were delightful. The food was beautiful and delicious. All of my group were very happy we chose to stay at the Manor. We hope to return someday!

I've not personally ever had the experience of reading about a place, getting there, and finding it to meet, let alone exceed, my expectations until I stayed at Maple Hill Manor. Usually descriptions indulge in hyperbole or the two best photos hide the less-than-elegant reality. Not the case here. This is the best BnB - ever. It's clean and plush, the innkeepers are consistently gracious, and the food is extraordinary. There really wasn't anything I wished had been different.

Maple Hill Manor was a perfect getaway. The house was beautiful and the farm was like a dream. The service was exceptional and the food was out of this world! I look forward to planning another trip down there very soon!

Our first stay at a B & B! Todd was our host for the evening & he was great! We stayed in the Abraham Lincoln Library, loved the fireplace & the bed was so comfortable, best nights sleep in a long time. Breakfast was wonderful, the lemon pancakes WOW I'd stay again just to have those pancakes! We visited the alpacas & lamas & the little shop onsite to purchase a couple of the alpaca fur bears to take home to the kids. We look forward to visiting again w/ a large group. I think it would be fun to rent the whole place as a group. Todd, thank you for the history lesson on the property & surrounding area.
