  • French bread
  • Eggs
  • Milk
  • Half-n-Half Cream
  • Vanilla extract
  • Cinnamon, ground
  • Butter
  • Brown sugar
  • Corn syrup, light


  1. Butter a 9x13 baking dish; arrange the slices of break in the bottom.
  2. In a large bowl, beat together eggs, milk, cream, vanilla, and cinnamon. Pour over bread slices, cover, and refrigerate overnight.
  3. In a small saucepan, combine butter, brown sugar, and corn syrup. Heat until bubbling. Pour over bread and egg mixture.
  4. Bake uncovered in preheated oven for 40 minutes.
  5. The next morning, preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
