Instructions

  1. Scoop onto pans lined with baking paper. Approximately 1 ½ “ apart. Use a 2 oz muffin scoop
  2. Brush with egg wash (a scrambled egg)
  3. Bake 15 – 20 minutes at 350 degrees
  4. Yields 12 to 18 Scones.
  5. Place ingredients in mixer and mix thoroughly until margarine is well blended with all else.
  6. 1 cup all purpose flour
  7. 1 ½ tsp baking powder
  8. ½ tsp cinnamon
  9. 1/3 cup margarine
  10. 1 apple (cored but with skin on
  11. finely chopped to ¼ “ pieces
  12. Granny Smith or Crispen)
  13. ¾ cup oats mixed with ¼ cup flour
  14. 1 egg white + whole egg
  15. ¼ cup honey
  16. 1 cup butterscotch chips
