Decadent Baked French Toast

  • 1 and 1/3 C All-purpose flour
  • 1 and 1/3 C Milk
  • Pecan Halves
  • Raisins
  • Eggs
  • Salt


  1. Slice bread into thick pieces. Bread could be Cinnamon Raisin, Chop Suey Loaf or plain Belgian white.
  2. Melt butter and pour into a 9 x 13 pan. Add brown sugar and cinnamon and mix well. Sprinkle with pecans and raisins. Cover with thick bread slices.
  3. Bake uncovered @ 300 degrees for 45 to 60 minutes. Invert and serve plain or with Maple Syrup.
  4. Beat eggs, milk and salt then pour over bread slices. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
