My girlfriend and I stayed at the Westcott House for a weekend and had a great time. Christine was very welcoming and managing our arrival time was easily done through the phone. We stayed in the Dylan room, which had a lovely fireplace that Christine showed us how to use and even came down later in the evening when I had trouble remembering how to work it. Also enjoyed the living room with funky mid-century decors. Breakfast was delicious and really thoughtfully made every morning. Christine herself was lovely - she provided great tips and made us feel very welcome

What a wonderful jewel of a getaway - love Hudson. First visit to Westcott House but certainly not my last. The gracious host Christine was such a treat - picked us up, fed us well and practically tucked us into our charming room. The house while stately feels like home. Charming and well appointed! Breakfasts were the best I have had. It was a real treat to spend time in this lovely and relaxing respite.

We where traveling from DC to Rochester on Amtrak and decided to stop in Hudson because we heard what a great town it was, and we are so glad we did. Westcott House was a pleasent surprise. It is beautifully furnished, great location, and a fabulous breakfast! The Innkeeper, Chris, was kind enough to pick us up at the train station, direct us toward great antiqueing, fabulous food, and a senic boat ride down the river. We couldn't have had a nicer stay, it was well worth the stop!

This past weekend was my second time staying at Westcott House B&B and it surpassed my first visit. I stayed in the Caroline Room this time and every comfort was anticipated. Chris, the host, couldn't have been nicer and accommodating. And, the breakfasts - what can I say, a gourmet experience each morning!

The house was clean, comfortable and nicely decorated with all the amenities you'd need. The owner went above and beyond as our host -- catering to our food preferences for breakfast and even picking us up from the train. The location is a block from Warren St. where all the shops and restaurants are located. All in all it made for a great weekend getaway. Would certainly go back.

My wife and I stayed in Tessa's room at Westcott Inn for Memorial Day weekend and had a great time! The house was very clean and comfortable and a great place to stay in Hudson. The hostess was so hospitable and the breakfast was great! The first morning she made eggs with heirloom tomatoes, grilled asparagus, avocado toast, and yogurt with granola and fresh fruit. The second morning she made eggs, caramel Belgian waffles, sausage with brusselsprouts, and granola with fruit. Her coffee was also excellent from Porto Rico importers off bleeker street. It's a great location right around the corner from the center of the Main Street (warren) in Hudson..

Please come again! We have been inspired by the bounty of the Columbia County farms this summer and keep trying new and delicious recipes on our guests!

In the front of the house on the upper floor, faces west, capturing afternoon light. Features a Martha Stewart nickel-plated four-poster bed, nonworking fireplace and lovely Victorian brass ceiling light with the original rose glass shades. The Victorian dresser and loveseat came from the innkeeper’s grandmother as do several of the framed tatting works in the room from early in the twentieth century. The new white Carrera marble bath has a floor-to-ceiling window facing west and a glass-enclosed tub with shower.
On the garden level in the front of the house, has a working gas fireplace and windows facing west onto a small shade garden of ferns and hostas. This handsome room features an impressive Baker bed with tall grommetted leather headboard and leather and walnut bedframe, two leather captain’s chairs, and a small dresser and closet for stowing away your belongings. Decorated with treasures from Asian adventures. Its white glass-tiled bath has a spacious shower and granite floor.
Located on the Garden level, has windows facing north to Columbia Street. The room has a large nonworking fireplace (it was the house’s original kitchen), a romantic whitewashed queen sleigh bed, a big comfy reading chair, and a small dresser and coat rack for your clothes. The spacious bath features an antique claw foot soaking tub with both a handheld shower and a fixed demi-rain showerhead.

We scout the Farmer's Market Saturday morning and select wonderful local produce including multi colored new potatoes, local sausage, heirloom tomatoes, and whatever may be fresh. We throw in herbs from our garden and it's a little different each time we present it to our guests!
