We recently had a very enjoyable stay at the Peabody House in Eureka Springs. Faryl, the owner/innkeeper made our stay a memorable one. We stayed in the Nautilus Room and it was very cozy with lots to love. Our sleeping experience was wonderful as we loved the king size bed, so comfortable, with the soft luxury sheets. We also loved the rain shower head and granite shower which was fantastic. The location is also a huge plus, close to and only a short walk to the charming shops of Eureka Springs. Highly recommend the Nautilus room at the Peabody House and enjoy your stay in this, quaint little town.

Faryl could write the book on innkeeping; great atmosphere, luxury beds, most accommodating and personal touch.

This is the 8th or 9th time that my wife and I have stayed at The Peabody House, so it is obvious that we love the place. We have stayed in all of the suites and the cottage. The rooms are charming, the beds are comfortable, and the location is ideal, right in the middle of town, and within walking distance of shops and restaurants. The innkeeper is friendly and very helpful. We keep returning and have yet to be disappointed.

What a treat! What a town! What an Innkeeper! Service and food until we were feeling guilty! Loved every minute of our stay.

Because it was a stormy day, I felt as though we were in a secret hideaway, high up above the rest of the world! We loved our room, but it was the spectacular view (including fall color) that made this stay so special.

Do not pass up the opportunity to stay at this wonderful B&B! All the extra touches make you feel welcome and right at home. The next time we are in northeast Arkanasa, we will drive the extra miles to stay at the Peabody. It is perfect in every way!

Jules Verne, a prolific Victorian Era writer, created classics such as 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, Journey to the Center of the Earth, Around the World in 80 Days. Our nod to Mr. Verne and his ceaseless vision of travel and exploration, we have christened this room The Nautilus. Not quite as eccentric nor as watertight as Captain Nemo's futuristic submarine, but we are pleased with it. More spacious than Captain Nemo's high tech submarine, but still snug, this room is our smallest space. Muted earth tones, brick floors, a draped four-post bed. Two soft, overstuffed chairs provided for reading or good conversation. The private bath sports granite counter tops, unique copper sink and fixtures with a cultured granite shower. The unusual 1920's brass pendant lighting fixture won out over adding a ceiling fan (instead we have provided a box fan for comfort). A private, outside entrance accesses deck seating, where guests can enjoy a cool beverage listening to our garden fountain, or music from Basin Park. Amenities specific to this room: ? King four-poster bed ? Feather topper ? 20" Flat screen TV/DVD player, with cable ? Shower-only bathroom ? Our smallest room, first floor location ? Pantry with refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker ? Box fan ? Downtown for easy walking to shopping and dining
